Took Dan Rearden’s class on writing better SOC tickets. It sounds basic, but good documentation is what actually stops an incident from turning into a disaster. Learned how to structure tickets so the escalation teams know exactly what they are looking at. We focused on standardizing the ticket lifecycle, removing confusing jargon, and making sure the who, what, when, where, and why is immediately clear to whoever picks up the alert next. Great practical skills for improving communication across security and IT teams.
